To understand how the site is read, Vilinn measures its audience with Matomo, an open-source tool installed on Vilinn's own hosting at OVH in France; nothing is passed to any other company. It records the pages viewed and how long they stay open, the links clicked to other sites, the domain of the site you came from, the type of device, the browser and its language, and the date. It sets no cookie and stores IP addresses with their last two parts removed. The code that links the pages of one visit changes every day and differs from one site to another, so it cannot recognise you later or follow you elsewhere. The statistics are kept for 25 months. Under the rules of the CNIL, the French data protection authority, this measurement needs no consent, but you can stop it on this browser:
